It’s never easy to face off with the parts of ourselves that aren’t working for us any longer, it takes commitment and deep courage.
I know for me when I began to fully accept the shadow side of myself, the masks and armor I thought I needed to wear to feel safe, fell off.
I started to love all of me and therefore began to seek less approval.
By default, more people could relate to me, trust me, and wanted to work with me.
It’s quite crazy that when we stop hiding who we are and drop the facade that we have it all figured out, and not “perfect”, we become who we truly are, and guess what life starts getting awesome!
