Something many people struggle with when embarking on their spiritual journey is who to turn to for guidance and support?
If you have a spiritual-based business or are looking to expand your spirituality as an individual, working with the right spiritual coach can take your business and your life to a new level.
I’ve said this before but there are so many spiritual opportunists out there who haven’t done the true inner work and have just put up an IG page, created a website, and are just copying or regurgitating what others are saying.
Trust me, you’ll want to avoid them as it’s not so pretty territory.
My number one rule for choosing a coach is to practice deep discernment. Whoever you decide to be your mentor it can’t just be off of what others say, who they are friends with, how fancy their website is, or how many followers they have.
Don’t be afraid to ask for results and success stories as there is a lot of smoke and mirrors in the world. Of course, research them and ask for lots of testimonials, ask questions such as: how long have you been in the work, who are your mentors and coaches you’ve worked with, what programs have you graduated, etc.
And always above all else pray, meditate, and use your own discernment and internal compass.
The BEST spiritual mentors and coaches don’t claim to know it all. They rarely give you “advice” and often ask more questions than they speak. They listen, invite, or share awareness, and ultimately guide you to find your own answers. We all need different coaches in different phases of our life, spiritual growth, and biz levels.
Right now, for example, I have three coaches. One for business, one for content creation, and a relationship coach for me and my partner.
Rich Litvin says it best, Coaches don’t “need” coaches, they hire coaches because they want to go from good to great!
